WuShuan is a contemporary watercolor artist working on rice paper, exploring the poetic relationship between water and imagination. Her process begins with gentle pours and sprays of pigment, allowing color to move freely and form organic shapes as the surface dries. Responding intuitively, Burns refines these moments while preserving their spontaneity. Her work is known for its soft palettes, atmospheric depth, and tranquil presence.

Her work has been exhibited and collected publicly, including the acquisition of 8 watercolor paintings by the Laura Bush Community Library Austin TX where her art is displayed for community engagement and appreciation.

 WuShuan continues to develop a body of work that honors patience, mindfulness, and the expressive beauty of watercolor, offering viewers a meditative visual experience rooted in nature and imagination.
